iPhone 12 Pro Come With 6GB RAM, iPhone 12 Still Using 4GB RAM

According to the plist file in the Xcode 12.1 beta, it can be confirmed that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are featured with 6GB RAM, while the low-end iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are still using 4GB of RAM.

These plist files accurately reveal the RAM of the previous iPhone lineups. Meanwhile, Geekbench also confirmed iPhone 12 Pro models come with 6GB RAM. As expected, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max all have 4GB RAM.

Expanded RAM and a faster A14 Bionic chip will greatly improve the performance of the iPhone 12 Pro. The benchmark test results of the iPhone 12 Pro show that the single-core performance of the A14 chip is roughly the same as the new iPad Air, although its multi-core score is significantly lower, still, considering iPhone 12 Pro was just announced yesterday, Geekbench may not have optimized for these models yet.

iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively. You will be able to pre-order iPhone 12 Pro beginning at 5 a.m. PDT on Friday, October 16, with availability beginning Friday, October 23, and pre-order for iPhone 12 Pro Max will begin at 5 a.m. PST on Friday, November 6, with availability beginning Friday, November 13.
