Apple is expected to announce a series of products including the iPhone 12 lineup at a digital-only event on October 13th, while a leaker already exposed a batch of details of the products that will be debuted.


The leaker named "Kang", who has a 97% track record accuracy, shared several details on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.

Kang says that the focus of this Apple event is the HomePod Mini speaker and the iPhone 12 lineup. According to him, the HomePod Mini is priced at $99, 3.3 inches high, and uses an S5 processor. It will be available for order on November 6/7 and will be on sale on 16/17.

As for the iPhone 12 lineup, Kang shared the following details:

The leaker also claimed that all four iPhone 12 models are 5G-ready. But, only the US models support millimeter-wave standards. As expected, the headphones and chargers are not provided. All four models feature Super Retina XDR Display, as well as utilizes a new tech called Ceramic Shield Front Cover.

Additionally, iPhone 12 supports the so-called Smart Data Mode that is likely designed to save power while using 5G. Camera-wise, Night Mode and Deep Fusion on iPhone 12 will receive upgrades, and Apple will introduce a new generation of Smart HDR, namely Smart HDR 3.

Finally, Kang broke the news that at the event, Apple will also debut the "Magsafe" iPhone 12 cases, two wireless chargers Magsafe Charger, Magsafe Duo Charger, and other accessories.
