Apple Releases watchOS 7.3.1 With A Fix For Charging Issue

Apple has released watchOS 7.3.1, this update follows the release of watchOS 7.3, which introduces the Unity Watch Face, "Time to Walk" feature for Apple Fitness+ subscribers, and more.


Users can now update their Apple Watches to watchOS 7.3.1 by going to the Watch app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update. Apple recommends keeping your Apple Watch on its charger until the update completes.

watchOS 7.3.1 includes a fix for an issue that prevented some Apple Watch Series 5 and Apple Watch SE devices from charging after entering Power Reserve. Meanwhile, If your Apple Watch still won't charge, please contact Apple Support to set up a mail-in repair free of charge. Your watch will be examined before service to verify that it's eligible for free repair.

Lastly, this update is only available for the Apple Watch Series 5 and the Apple Watch SE, therefore, other Apple Watch models will not have an update obtainable.
